The Germin is the only Growspec product specifically designed for multi-stage crop production within a single unit. Its five-layer architecture creates dedicated zones for germination/propagation (Layer 2) and full-cycle leafy greens (Layers 3–5), with the mechanical hub in Layer 1. This enables rolling harvests — while one layer germinates, others are mid-cycle or ready to harvest.
Layer 2 supports seedlings, microgreens, and early-stage leafy greens. Layers 3–5 are configured for high-efficiency leafy greens cultivation. The aeroponic system and AB30 light spectrum are optimised for fast-cycling crops including lettuce varieties, herbs, and microgreens. Layer 1 contains a centralised water tank, water pump, and oxygen pump. The pump circulates nutrient solution through dedicated supply pipes to each growing layer, where precision aeroponic nozzles mist roots directly. Unused solution is collected and returned to the reservoir in a closed-loop cycle — using 99% less water than conventional soil farming.
The AB30 is a 30 W, 220–240 V AC passive-cooled grow bar measuring 120 × 25 × 4 cm. Its spectrum is red-dominant (61.2% at 600–699 nm) with significant far-red (20.7%) and green (17.4%) contributions — a formula designed to boost root initiation and early vegetative vigour without excessive heat output.
